From the Lesson Plan to the Classroom

Learning Objective: Upon completion, participants will be able to identify and explain the seven steps to preparing an effective lesson plan, create a structured lesson plan for the first day of class, and write clear, measurable learning objectives. Participants will also be able to design engaging introductions and learning activities that support diverse learning styles, implement strategies to check for student comprehension, develop effective lesson conclusions and previews, and create realistic timelines while adapting lessons as needed to meet the classroom's needs.

1-hour Instructor Teaching Methods

IMPORTANT: 

1. When you begin your course, DO NOT advance the videos by dragging the player to the end of the video. You must watch the entire video to advance to the next section.

2. Chromebook devices will not work with our system. Chromebook will not work with most video programs.  

3. The following browsers work best: Google Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, Opera

4. DO NOT use Internet Explorer.  Internet Explorer has not been supported since 2015 and should not be used regardless.

5. You MUST be logged in to access the courses.
